Mr. Mitchel is board certified in criminal defense investigation by the Criminal Defense Investigation Training Council. Mr. Mitchel is a former Vice President and past executive board member of the Texas Narcotics Officers Association. Mr. Mitchel also holds a Masters Peace Officer certificate with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officers Standards of Education. Additionally, he is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and a lifetime member of the DPS Officer’s Association. Mr. Mitchel participates regularly in educational training and seminars.
